Animation isn't just about entertainment—it's a powerful tool that can profoundly influence our mental well-being. Let's delve into the ways animation interacts with our minds:🎭 Empathy Amplifier: Animated characters often embody relatable struggles, providing a mirror for our own experiences. Through their journeys, we gain empathy, understanding, and a sense of connection, fostering emotional resilience and social bonds.🌈 Escapism vs. Catharsis: Animation offers a spectrum of experiences, from whimsical fantasies to poignant reflections of reality. Whether we seek refuge in vibrant worlds or confront our inner demons through animated narratives, it serves as both an escape and a cathartic release.🧩 Therapeutic Symbolism: Animators weave rich tapestries of symbolism, color psychology, and visual metaphors that resonate with our subconscious minds. These elements can evoke deep-seated emotions, spark introspection, and aid in psychological healing and self-discovery.🎨 Art as Therapy: Engaging with animated art forms, whether through creation or consumption, offers a therapeutic outlet for expression, validation, and personal growth. It empowers individuals to navigate complex emotions, cope with trauma, and envision brighter futures.💡 Animating Hope: In a world often overshadowed by darkness, animation serves as a beacon of hope and resilience. It inspires us to embrace our vulnerabilities, celebrate our differences, and envision a world where healing, kindness, and compassion prevail. #AnimationTherapy #MentalHealthMatters #ArtisticExpression #HealingThroughCreativity

PHISH at Sphere, part 2! 🚀 In terms of content, we not only used graphic animations but also shot footage that underwent extensive processing. This blend added depth and realism to the abstract loops we created. However, this came with its technical limitations, particularly with software used for scenes involving clouds and particles. We faced gigantic render times, with countless tests needed to achieve the optimal result. The production process was unconventional. We developed a VJ library of loops that were not connected in meaning and could be mixed in real-time, complete with all the psychedelic effects. This approach allowed for flexibility and spontaneity during the show, enhancing the overall immersive experience.Technically, the final resolution of the content was 12K, with the total volume exceeding 11 TB. Some scenes had render times reaching up to 4 hours per frame! Additionally, the number of frames was substantial, as we aimed to make the content as slow as possible to allow for speeding up if necessary, but not the reverse. At such a scale, every movement feels amplified, like being in a rocket. This experience has been a testament to what we can achieve with innovation and teamwork. I wanted to highlight Natasha Ganzha for her excellent oversight of a large team of CG artists during stressful times, Ekaterina Konovalova and Evgeny Mezhibovskiy for their inspirational artistic guidance.Alesia Kolskaia for her outstanding organizational skills and our fearless leader – Aleksandr Us for leading the way!Working in the Sphere with 12K resolution was no small feat—some frames took hours to render! I’m proud to have been part of this groundbreaking project, showcasing technical prowess and attention to detail at every turn. For full credits, head to Moment Factory Music - https://lnkd.in/egZs-GzY#silasveta #silasvetastudio #rustospace #phish #msgsphere #lasvegas

Ebsynth+ComfyUI+Runway+CapcutExcited to share my latest project where I combined multiple powerful tools to create a unique video! I used Stable Diffusion and ComfyUI to generate pixel art and film noir frames, and then brought everything together using Ebsynth. Here’s a breakdown of the process:1.Stable Diffusion & ComfyUI: Created detailed pixel art and striking film noir frames.2.Ebsynth: Seamlessly blended these frames to create smooth transitions and fluid animations.3.Runway & Capcut: Finalized the video with additional editing, effects, and finishing touches. This workflow showcases the incredible potential of AI in animation and video production. The fusion of these tools allows for unprecedented creativity and efficiency.Check out the final video and let me know your thoughts!#AIAnimation #StableDiffusion #ComfyUI #Ebsynth #Runway #Capcut #FilmNoir #PixelArt #VideoProduction #CreativeTech #DigitalArt #AIArt #MachineLearning #TechInnovation

Human Pose Estimation Guide:Human pose estimation refers to the process of inferring poses in an image. Essentially, it entails predicting the positions of a person’s joints in an image or video. This problem is also sometimes referred to as the localization of human joints. It’s also important to note that pose estimation has various sub-tasks such as single pose estimation, estimating poses in an image with many people, estimating poses in crowded places, and estimating poses in videos.Pose estimation can be performed in either 3D or 2D. Some of the applications of human pose estimation include:• Activity recognition • Animation • Gaming • Augmented reality Some of the approaches used in the papers we’ll highlight are bottom-up and top-down. Essentially, in a bottom-up approach, the processing is done from high to low resolutions, while in top-down processing is done from low to high resolutions. The top-down approach starts by identifying and localizing individual person instances using a bounding box object detector. This is then followed by estimating the pose of a single person. The bottom-up approach starts by localizing identity-free semantic entities, then grouping them into person instances.

Many of the actions that we take with our hands involve self-contact and occlusion: shaking hands, making a fist, or interlacing our fingers while thinking. This use of our hands illustrates the importance of tracking hands through self-contact and occlusion for many applications in computer vision and graphics, but existing methods for tracking hands and faces are not designed to treat the extreme amounts of self-contact and self-occlusion exhibited by common hand gestures.By extending recent advances in vision-based tracking and physically based animation, we present the first algorithm capable of tracking high-fidelity hand deformations through highly self-contacting and self-occluding hand gestures, for both single hands and two hands.Video Credits: Meta Research / Breannan Smith, Chenglei Wu, He Wen, Patrick Peluse, Yaser Sheikh, Jessica Hodgins, Takaaki Shiratori--------------------------------Stay ahead of the curve! MEDICAL ANIMATIONFor those of us in the health care space,it's really easy for us to assume that because we understand medical terms, then the lay man out there should also understand. So when you are talking about cancer, malaria, typhoid, you expect them to understand just like that without showing them anything visually.....lol.📌 Breaking down information for patient to really understand and improving patient comprehension is one of the advantages of animation. 📌 An animated video can serve as an educational tool to simplify information and even demonstrate it.The new generation of patients out there are individuals that are curious about their health and will go any length to find out information in regards to that.♻️ Most importantly,I love the fact that in the animation pipeline there's sound and music design that can make information available in various languages aiding communication.Honestly, there's alot to explore and I'm definitely here for it all.𝕸𝖞 𝖓𝖆𝖒𝖊 𝖎𝖘 𝕴𝖉𝖗𝖎𝖘 𝕿𝖆𝖎𝖜𝖔 𝖆𝖐𝖆 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖆𝖓𝖓𝖔𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖉 𝖆𝖓𝖎𝖒𝖆𝖙𝖔𝖗, 𝕴'𝖒 𝖕𝖆𝖘𝖘𝖎𝖔𝖓𝖆𝖙𝖊 𝖆𝖇𝖔𝖚𝖙 𝖗𝖊𝖛𝖔𝖑𝖚𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓𝖎𝖟𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖋𝖚𝖙𝖚𝖗𝖊 𝖔𝖋 𝖍𝖊𝖆𝖑𝖙𝖍-𝖈𝖆𝖗𝖊 𝖚𝖘𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖛𝖎𝖘𝖚𝖆𝖑 𝖘𝖙𝖔𝖗𝖞 𝖙𝖊𝖑𝖑𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖚𝖘𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖛𝖎𝖗𝖙𝖚𝖆𝖑 𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖞 𝖙𝖔 𝖘𝖔𝖑𝖛𝖊 𝖕𝖗𝖔𝖇𝖑𝖊𝖒𝖘 𝖎𝖓 𝖘𝖊𝖈𝖙𝖔𝖗𝖘.☀️You can follow me for content around #faith #3danimation #sectors #healthcare #medicalanimation #solutions #kingdomcareer and moreGlobal Solution 🌍#3dmodelling #3danimator #thoughtleader #healthcare #faith #medicalanimation #kingdomadvancer
